Creating a T-Shirt Design -
'Rainbow & Love'
I wanted to create a piece of art that expressed so much love and care for the Black Lives Matter movement. The rainbow has been a symbol of hope during lockdown in support of the NHS. The rainbow flag is also a symbol of LGBTQ social movements. Other older uses of rainbows include a symbol of peace. The colours reflect the diversity of the LGBTQ community, as the flag is often used as a symbol of gay pride during marches. A rainbow is made up for so many vibrant colours and is such a natural and beautiful sight to behold that i thought it translated nicely for this particular cause. All profits from the sales of my T-Shirt were donated to Show racism the red card.
